Jess joins friends for a day-sailing trip. A storm capsizes them. They climb aboard a derelict liner that appears to be empty, except somebody is killing them, and the somebody is her.

Christopher Smith built a genuine puzzle box: the film is a time loop and a Möbius strip at once, and the structure only fully resolves on a rewatch, at which point every apparently throwaway image turns out to be load-bearing.

Melissa George carries it almost alone and the performance has to work across several versions of the same character at once.

The Sisyphus and Aeolus references are not decoration, they are the plot.

It is one of the smartest scripts in the genre and one of the most rewatched, because it is essentially unsolvable on a first pass and completely fair on a second.
