Something missing? The database is curated rather than exhaustive, so the pitch matters more than the title.

Only used to tell you if it went in.

What makes a good submission

Tell us the title, the year and why the film belongs. The database is curated, so the case for a film matters more than the fact that it exists. A submission that names what is distinctive about the film, where it fits in horror history or what happened to it with censors is far more likely to go in.

What happens next

Every submission is read by a person. Entries are written in full and fact-checked before they are published, which is why some take a while. Film metadata is pulled from Wikidata rather than typed in, so an obscure film with no Wikidata record may need more time. The rules are in the editorial policy.

Before you submit

Check the A to Z list in case the film is already in.
