Michael Ironside stalking a hospital. A real cast, a real budget, and no business being on the list.

A real cast, a real budget, and no business being on the list at all.

Michael Ironside plays a misogynist killer who follows a television journalist into a hospital after a failed attack and works his way through the building. Lee Grant is the journalist, William Shatner is her producer, and Linda Purl is the nurse.

Ironside is truly frightening in it, playing a man whose hatred is presented as ideological rather than psychological, and the film gives him a backstory it declines to use as an excuse.

It is a competent Canadian thriller with a hospital setting and less on-screen violence than a great many certificated films of the period.
