The Beast in Heat
Nazisploitation at its most worthless. On the list for good reason and worth nobody's evening.
The bottom of the DPP list and the bottom of the nazisploitation cycle.
The cycle itself came out of two things. Italy had a tradition of fumetti neri, cheap black-covered adult comics that traded in exactly this imagery through the 1960s. And Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS had made a great deal of money in 1975, shot in nine days on the standing sets of the cancelled Hogan's Heroes.
What followed was roughly two years of Italian and Spanish productions racing each other downward. This is the one usually named as the worst of them, and its infamous element is a man in makeup kept in a cell.
Luigi Batzella directed it partly by padding the running time with unrelated partisan footage from an earlier film of his, which is why the tone lurches between war picture and something else entirely.
The cycle burned out by 1978. It is documented here because the list is documented in full.

Adjacent
Blood Rites
Andy Milligan shooting in Staten Island with a hand-held Auricon. An acquired taste nobody acquires.
Fight for Your Life
A home invasion built entirely on racial abuse. Genuinely hard to watch and not for craft reasons.
Mardi Gras Massacre
An Aztec-obsessed killer in New Orleans. A Blood Feast remake in all but name, and slower.
Exposé
The only British film on the DPP list. A novelist, a typist and Fiona Richmond in a farmhouse.
Don't Go Near the Park
Cursed cave dwellers from 12,000 BC eating people in modern Los Angeles. Incoherent throughout.
Frozen Scream
Every line is dubbed, including scenes with nobody talking. Almost hypnotically incompetent.
