SS Experiment Camp
Notorious in Britain almost entirely for its poster. The film is inert.
Notorious in Britain almost entirely for its poster, which showed a woman suspended upside down and was reproduced in the newspapers running the campaign.
That artwork was raised in Parliament. It appeared in the Sunday Times. For a great many people it is the only thing they have ever seen from the film, and that is roughly the correct amount.
Sergio Garrone shot this and a second nazisploitation picture back to back with the same cast and sets, which was standard practice for the cycle.
The film is dull, which is not a defence and is worth stating: the notoriety is entirely a marketing artefact.
Successfully prosecuted, and one of the titles the DPP list is most associated with despite almost nobody having sat through it.

Adjacent
Blood Rites
Andy Milligan shooting in Staten Island with a hand-held Auricon. An acquired taste nobody acquires.
Fight for Your Life
A home invasion built entirely on racial abuse. Genuinely hard to watch and not for craft reasons.
Mardi Gras Massacre
An Aztec-obsessed killer in New Orleans. A Blood Feast remake in all but name, and slower.
Exposé
The only British film on the DPP list. A novelist, a typist and Fiona Richmond in a farmhouse.
Don't Go Near the Park
Cursed cave dwellers from 12,000 BC eating people in modern Los Angeles. Incoherent throughout.
Frozen Scream
Every line is dubbed, including scenes with nobody talking. Almost hypnotically incompetent.
